This 3D scanner app is designed for ski boot custom fitting by Boot Solutions. * The app is free! No monthly fee * No need to buy additional hardware, just an iPhone X and after, or an iPad Pro 2018 and after. Boot Solutions is operated by Powder House Ski Shops in Utah. It provides both the FaceID and rear camera-based 3D scan capabilities, enabling easy scans of the foot, leg, and lower body. The 3D scan data enables Boot Solutions to provide guidance on model selection in order to choose the optimal ski boots for an individual through its proprietary algorithms. The 3D scan data is then used to reproduce a model of the customer’s foot and lower leg. This model is then used to customize the consumer’s ski boots remotely without having to visit a ski shop.
