With its two apps, Glimpact empowers citizens to take action on their own lifestyles to reduce their individual environmental footprint (My Glimpact), as well as to steer their purchases towards the least impactful products (Glimpact Scan). Glimpact enables the creation of a virtuous circle to facilitate the ecological transition of both citizens and businesses. My Glimpact allows you to assess your overall environmental footprint based on your lifestyle and discover to what extent you are contributing to exceeding the nine planetary boundaries beyond which the planet becomes destabilized. It helps you understand the causes of your impact and identify effective strategies to reduce it. My Glimpact is based on the only method recognized by the scientific community and adopted by the European Union for measuring each individual's environmental impact: the PEF/OEF method. This method goes beyond measuring carbon footprint to consider all 16 categories of human activity impact on the planet (such as water consumption, fossil fuel consumption, and land use). Because when it comes to the environment, if we cannot see everything, we see nothing.
