Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: daylyy at 4.7 against Hangtime's 4.2. daylyy also leads on ratings volume (107 vs 5). Hangtime's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (10.2 vs 15.5). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
daylyy holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: daylyy has 107 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Hangtime's written reviews are positive against 98% of daylyy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Hangtime ships an update every 4 days, daylyy every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
