Dāna is a quiet, ceremonial app for the daily practice of giving (布施 / dāna). It does not move money. The act of giving — to a temple, a person, a charity — happens in the world, with your hands. The app is the small ritual around it. A daily pledge. Choose an amount and a category — life release, sangha offering, flower offering, meal offering, tsok offering, child sponsorship, ORBIS, stray animals, elderly living alone, or a general dāna pledge. You can hold up to ten active pledges at once. Confirm with intention. When you've given, open Dāna and confirm. A small Buddha figure offers a blessing. Merit accumulates by distinct calendar days, not by frequency. Companions appear over time. Your practice begins with a teacher in the living lineage. As it deepens — every 21 days — Guanyin, Green Tārā, Mañjuśrī, Vajrasattva, and Padmasambhava are invited to walk alongside, with Śākyamuni Buddha as the culminating figure. Once invited, a companion stays. There is no streak, no leaderboard, no shame. Honor system, always. No verification. No tracking. No analytics. No subscriptions.
