Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Digital Planner at 4.3 against Agenda!'s 2.3. Digital Planner also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 16 months) and ratings volume (14K vs 3). Agenda!'s advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6) and ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Digital Planner sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Agenda! asks for nothing beyond the download.
Digital Planner holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Digital Planner has 14K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Agenda!'s written reviews are positive against 21% of Digital Planner's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Agenda! ships an update every 16 months, Digital Planner every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
