Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: RPG Sounds at 4.7 against Cthulhu Helper's 1.0. RPG Sounds also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (200 vs 3). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RPG Sounds sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Cthulhu Helper sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
RPG Sounds holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RPG Sounds has 200 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
