About

LuftDings

Features

LuftDings puts your air quality right on your iPhone Home Screen and Lock Screen. These are the widgets the official apps don't offer. See radon, CO2, VOC, PM2.5, temperature, humidity, air pressure and more at a glance, with good / fair / poor quality colors and a clear "last updated" time. Small, medium and large widgets let you choose how much detail you want. SUPPORTED SERVICES • Airthings: radon, CO2, VOC, PM (indoor air quality) • WeatherFlow Tempest: wind, rain, UV, lightning • Awair (Beta): CO2, VOC, PM2.5, noise • Ecowitt (Beta, also Froggit): wind, rain, UV, PM, CO2 • Ambient Weather (Beta): wind, rain, UV, PM • AirGradient (Beta): CO2, PM, VOC/NOx index • SwitchBot (Beta): Meter series • Netatmo (Beta): CO2, noise, indoor & outdoor Connect one service or several. Devices from all of your connections appear together in the app and in its widgets. ABOUT THE BETA INTEGRATIONS Integrations marked Beta are built from each vendor's public API documentation. We don't own that hardware, so nobody has checked the readings against a real device yet. If you own one, we'd love to hear whether the numbers look right. Write to support@poschenrieder.io, and we'll credit you by name in the app if you want. HOW IT CONNECTS LuftDings is free. No ads, no in-app purchases, no subscription. It reads your devices through each vendor's official API using your own free API credentials (Bring Your Own API Key), which you create once in your own account with that vendor. The app walks you through it. Your credentials stay in your device's Keychain, and requests go directly from your iPhone to that vendor. Nothing is sent to any server we control. There is no LuftDings account and no LuftDings backend. TRY IT FIRST No account yet? Tap "Try a demo" on the first screen to explore every screen and every widget with realistic sample data. No credentials needed. IMPORTANT LuftDings is an unofficial, independent app. It is not made by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Airthings, WeatherFlow, Awair, Ecowitt, Ambient Weather, AirGradient, SwitchBot or Netatmo. Those names are used only to describe the sensors the app works with. The app requires an account with at least one of those services and depends on that vendor's API. If a vendor changes, restricts or discontinues its API, the affected features may stop working.
