Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Code Review at 3.3 against Confluence Data Center's 2.5. Code Review also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (10.2 vs 18.0). Confluence Data Center's advantage is ratings volume (73 vs 4). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Code Review holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Confluence Data Center has 73 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 21% of Confluence Data Center's written reviews are positive against 14% of Code Review's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Confluence Data Center ships an update every 2 months, Code Review every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
