Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is update cadence: Cloud Crew at every 2 months against Space Shuttle AR's every 5 months. Cloud Crew also leads on review sentiment (91% vs 78%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). Space Shuttle AR's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 57) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Space Shuttle AR holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Space Shuttle AR has 1.1K ratings behind it against 57, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of Space Shuttle AR's written reviews are positive against 91% of Cloud Crew's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Space Shuttle AR ships an update every 5 months, Cloud Crew every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
