All drivers using Blackcab.com are licensed, insured, and Knowledge-qualified, operating within the established London taxi framework. Blackcab.com follows a simple, driver-first model: no surge pricing, no commission on fares, and no added technology fees. The regulated taxi meter applies as normal. For booked journeys, a £2 booking fee is charged to the passenger. This structure keeps pricing transparent and familiar while allowing drivers to retain full control of their earnings. This is the first iteration of the Blackcab.com app. Regular updates are planned to expand features and improve the experience for both drivers and passengers, while maintaining full TfL compliance.
