About

Pronto Commute

Features

Hybrid work broke the old commute routine. No more taking the same train every day or buying a monthly pass on autopilot. Your schedule changes every week. Pronto keeps up, helping you spend less time worrying about when to leave and which train will get you there on time. KNOW WHICH TRAIN YOU'RE ON Pronto recognizes the Metro-North, LIRR, or NJ Transit train you're riding, as you ride it, and shows your arrival time, next stops, and any delay. TELL WHOEVER'S WAITING No more "which train are you on?" texts. Pronto drafts the message with your train and arrival time already filled in, so whoever's meeting you knows when to expect you. You just hit send. Optionally, Pronto can notice when you've boarded your train home and nudge you to share, so you don't have to remember. THE RIGHT TICKET FOR YOUR ROUTINE Tell Pronto how often you're commuting, and it compares one-way fares, weekly passes, and monthly passes to estimate which option costs you the least. KNOW WHEN TO LEAVE Tell Pronto when you need to arrive in the city or get home, and it helps you choose the right train and know when to head out. Leave-now nudges are timed to your train and adjusted for live delays, with another departure ready if plans change or you miss it. LIVE DEPARTURES See real-time departures, including tracks, delays, and arrival estimates. Add the widget to your Home or Lock Screen to check your next train without opening the app. SUBWAY AND LIGHT RAIL BUILT IN Check live status and arrival times for the subway and light rail lines connecting your commute. AIRPORT CONNECTIONS See current travel times to your city's major airports from your commute destination. Pronto covers the New York City area: Metro-North, the Long Island Rail Road, NJ Transit, and the NYC Subway. Pronto is an independent app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the MTA, Metro-North, the Long Island Rail Road, or NJ Transit.
