Your camera should help you take better photos without making things more complicated. Line It Up Camera is an easy-to-use everyday camera with helpful framing tools. The photos you make with Line It Up just look better. COMPOSE WITH CONFIDENCE • Choose from practical General and People composition grids. • Let Auto Grid suggest a guide for the scene in front of you. • Save favorite grids for quick access. • Design one custom General grid and one custom People grid. • See leveling guidance in the viewfinder, then save a photograph that matches the corrected preview. CAPTURE THE MOMENT • Shoot JPEG or HEIF at your preferred quality. • Use Live Photos on eligible General and Landscape captures. • Add location metadata only when you choose. • Capture with the screen, supported hardware controls, Control Center, Shortcuts, or the secure Lock Screen camera experience. • Use burst capture and remote photo sets when one frame may not be enough. MADE FOR PEOPLE AND PLACES People guides combine intentional framing with depth-aware or on-device segmentation processing. The result is a finished photograph with a natural baked-in look—not an editable Portrait-mode asset. LIVE ACTIONS, ON DEVICE When enabled, Live Actions can recognize QR codes, text, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, Wi-Fi QR codes, and documents. Recognition happens on your device. Document scans are assembled into a PDF for the system share sheet. APPLE WATCH REMOTE Use the Apple Watch companion as a remote viewfinder. Check framing, start a countdown, cancel it, or capture a remote photo set while the iPhone app is open and ready. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Line It Up has no account, advertising, behavioral analytics, developer-operated server, or cloud scan history. Core camera analysis and photo processing happen on your device.
