Midnight Highway is a portrait night-driving game you can enjoy in a few minutes at a time. Cruise a highway that runs through city lights, over a strait bridge, past forests and mountains, through a tunnel and down to the coast. Weave through traffic, collect diamonds and keep your combo going. ■ Build your car, part by part Start from a bare chassis and build it up in the garage: brakes, steering and horn, headlights, and finally the body. Each part changes how you drive. Finish one car to unlock the next. ■ Five cars, five skills Sedan, SUV, Lowrider, Sports Car and Formula each come with their own skill: Boost, Shield, Magnet, Combo Guard and Overdrive. Spend the diamonds you earn on speed, acceleration, steering, horn, fuel and skill upgrades. ■ Honk your way through Blast the horn and the car ahead takes off at full speed. Send it into another car and watch them both fly. ■ Auto-cruise Hand the wheel to auto-cruise and take in the night scenery and music. ■ Leaderboards Compete for the longest distance and the highest combo, overall and for each car, in Game Center. Free to play. Contains ads and optional in-app purchases (Remove Forced Ads, Formula (Gold Edition), and extra auto-cruise time).

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Freeway Driving at none against Midnight Highway's 3. Freeway Driving also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). Midnight Highway's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.
