Sit with your janma mantra. Keep a kundli-grounded rhythm. Lagna is classical Jyotish practice for Lifestyle and Health & Fitness: authored japa sit, chart-grounded reflection, and a 7-day rhythm — plus a full sidereal birth chart (kundli) computed on your iPhone. Not a daily horoscope dump, not fortune-telling, and not medical, financial, or legal advice. Lagna computes a sidereal kundli using Lahiri ayanamsa and whole-sign houses from your birth date, time, and place: graha placements, nakshatra, Vimshottari dasha tree, yogas, dignities, and divisional charts (D1/D2/D9/D10). Chart math is deterministic on device — placements are never invented by AI. Optional Apple Intelligence explains your chart when available, grounded in computed facts, with a deterministic knowledge fallback when it isn't. Japa is traditional recitation for sincerity — not a remedy that changes the chart. Start on Practice for sit and reflection. Your kundli lives on Chart. Insights and Ask stay grounded in that chart. PRACTICE • Today’s japa — authored janma-nakshatra mantra (Free); current Maha dasha lord mantra (Premium). Traditional recitation, not a remedy. • Sit, then reflection, then a 7-day practice rhythm strip (Mon–Sun dots) — sit or reflection fills the same day • Practice streaks keyed to You — daily reflection (Free); weekly review, dasha-window, Moon-cycle, and transit awareness in Practice overview (Premium) • Optional reflection reminders — gentle cadence in Settings → Practice • Apple Watch Practice page — the same weekly rhythm at a glance CHART & ENGINE • D1 natal kundli in North or South Indian style — graha, rāśi, nakshatra, house lords • Divisional lenses D2, D9 (Navamsa), D10 — canvas views with natal D1 placement summary • Vimshottari timing — maha, antar, pratyantar dasha tree with full timeline • Chart MeaningSnapshot — calm natal synthesis; Free facts / Premium meaning • Evidence screen — detections, resolver matches, and provenance you can audit ASK & INSIGHTS • Ask — questions grounded in your computed chart, sky, or match context — Free quota included; Premium unlimited • Insights + life themes composed from chart facts and Evidence • Learn library — searchable Jyotish concepts with Ask hand-off MATCH • Ashtakoota compatibility — full 8 kootas with explanations (Free preview / Premium breakdown). Open from Library or More when you want it — not a main tab. TIMING & CURRENT SKY • Personal Current Sky — transits × dasha × house convergence with care-framed emphasis • Cycles & eclipses — tithi, yoga, karaṇa, New/Full, Sun ingress, geocentric eclipse candidates • Annual timing — rolling ~12-month skim (Free dated facts; Premium care-framed pacing). Not Varshaphal. • Risk/attention grades are technical signal strength for carefulness — not predictions of harm PRIVATE BY DESIGN Chart math stays on your iPhone. AI never invents graha, rāśi, nakshatra, dasha lords, or mantras that aren't in your chart. Local-first by default; Premium can sync saved chart profiles privately via iCloud when you opt in. You-only widgets and Apple Watch companion follow your personal chart. Premium Chart PDF export; Free privacy-safe plain-text summary and single-card share. REFLECTION ONLY Lagna is for self-understanding and classical Jyotish practice. It is not predictive certainty or professional advice. The best hours of your day, read from your chart. Sumuhurta answers one question — when today is good for you — and answers it as one screen. The screen is the sky. It moves from dawn through noon to dusk and true dark, and your windows sit in it as spans of light: one to three in each sunrise-to-sunrise cycle. You may know your chart from apps that read your personality. Sumuhurta reads the other thing a chart holds — time. In this app, the chart is one input to a traditional timing calculation. Sumuhurta reads choghadiya, hora and the abhijit muhurta against your dasha period, the Moon's position relative to yours, the hour's ruling planet and how it sits for you. Each window carries a plain name. A clear run is long and sustained, for the deep work. Sharp is short and bright, for sending and deciding. Steady is even, for meetings and slower work. Beneath the name, a quiet attribution — Jupiter hora · Amrit — is there for readers who know Jyotish. The day runs sunrise to sunrise. If your free hours begin at nine at night, your windows do too. Every personal window Sumuhurta surfaces is calculated to avoid Rahu Kaal, Yamaganda, Gulika, and the Kaal, Rog and Udveg choghadiya periods. It does not display negative-period tables or claim to perform a complete electional-muhurta assessment. It keeps its selected personal windows and leaves the rest as open sky. That is the whole idea, and it is on purpose. Everything is computed on your phone. Your birth details never leave it. No account, no email, no sign-in, no advertising, and no analytics SDK. The developer does not collect data from the app. One price, once. Two weeks free first, full product, no card required. After the trial, the app screen — every window, day and night, the scrub, the share card — stays free forever. The purchase is Sumuhurta arriving on its own: six widget families, StandBy, window-open alerts, an optional 9pm preview when tonight holds nothing further, and a Live Activity that keeps the open window on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island until it closes. You can also choose to show meetings as faint marks on the day line; Calendar access is requested only when you turn that setting on, and event start and end times are read on your phone. No subscription and no add-ons. The paywall displays the App Store's localized price. Sumuhurta is tradition and guidance, not prediction. It does not read your future, match your compatibility, or explain your personality. It offers selected personal timing windows, and it is made to be worth looking at.
