Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: TheFork Manager at 4.7 against T's 3.8. TheFork Manager also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months). T's advantage is review sentiment (53% vs 28%) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
TheFork Manager holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 45 and 13 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 53% of T's written reviews are positive against 28% of TheFork Manager's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
T ships an update every 4 months, TheFork Manager every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
