Potato, Potato, Potato is a silly little game designed by Jared Bendis with art by Ub Iwerks. And while Mr. Iwerks died in 1971, a short animated film he made back in 1928 called "Steamboat Willie", which introduced the world to two adorable mouse characters, passed into the public domain on January 1, 2024 and this game uses images and animation from it. The game itself is silly and light, simply cut the potatoes without getting hit in the head! Enjoy.

Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: PotatoPotatoPotato at 5.0 against TapLoops's 2.6. TapLoops's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
PotatoPotatoPotato holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TapLoops has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
