Lokas is a mobile application that lets you record your conversations, transcribe them into text and automatically separate each speaker's contribution. Whether it's a meeting, an interview or an informal chat, Lokas helps you capture your exchanges with ease. Key features One-click audio recording: Start a recording quickly and effortlessly. Automatic transcription: Thanks to an artificial intelligence tool for voice recognition, Lokas quickly transforms your recordings into text, making it easy to track, review and share your important discussions. Voice diarisation: Lokas automatically identifies who is speaking. This makes it possible, in particular, to compile statistics on the amount of time each person speaks. Respect for privacy: Your data belongs to you. The recordings processed by Framasoft are neither used nor kept after their analysis. File export: Easily retrieve your transcripts and audio files in different formats (TXT, SRT, or M4A). Share them with colleagues, friends or clients in just a few clicks. And in future versions... Translation: Lokas can transcribe your audio recording into the language of your choice, producing a text file (e.g. in German) corresponding to your vocal exchanges (e.g. in French). The Lokas application and service are provided by the Framasoft association, a well-known player in the digital ethics field. Our business model is based almost entirely on donations from individuals. As such, we seek to minimise the data we collect about you, and your records are always deleted from our servers directly after processing. Who is behind Lokas? Lokas is a project developed by Framasoft, a French not-for-profit association committed to popular education in the digital commons. Framasoft is known for its many initiatives aimed at raising public awareness of alternatives to large centralised platforms and encouraging digital practices that are more respectful of privacy and individual freedoms. This is done in particular through the De-google-ify Internet campaign, which proposes some fifteen services as alternatives to those of the net giants.
