New Sight holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: JoyTrip has 46 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of New Sight's written reviews are positive against 23% of JoyTrip's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
New Sight ships an update every 3 weeks, JoyTrip every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
