This app quickly creates graphs from simple input. Works with line, bar, and pie charts. We've also implemented a new combo chart with lines and bars. Combining a monthly bar chart with a cumulative line chart for each month makes the information much easier to understand. It's a bit quirky as it instantly draws graphs from input data. Please check the summary below. ・Data Values No strict input limits, but for a neat layout, keep characters short. Adjust units to shorten characters (e.g., [Unit: 1,000 yen]). ・Data Labels: Adjusted for the longest notation '20231101.' To minimize data label characters, use '23/11/01' or '11/1' as labels, and include '2023-' in the title. Labels with 3 or fewer characters display horizontally. ・Pie Charts If input totals 100, it's % distribution on the chart. If not, it auto-calculates percentages. Charts created with this app can be used freely for both commercial and non-commercial purposes.

Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Charting at none against Graph Maker's shown. Charting also leads on device support (4 vs 2). Graph Maker's advantage is rating (3.7 vs 3.4). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Charting sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Graph Maker sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Graph Maker holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 23 and 15 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of Charting's written reviews are positive against 31% of Graph Maker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Charting ships an update weekly, Graph Maker every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
