The Sea Levels Project was born out of a love for the environment, a concern over inaction, and a lack of simple to use educational tools. Almost all scientists agree that the global climate is changing, and that sea levels are rising, with an increase in the rate of rise very likely to be caused by humans. When it comes to action it is of no consequence whether the cause of climate change is man-made or natural - it still poses an increasing threat to humanity.  We believe that education is an essential step for us as a species to find a solution. Whilst no mobile application could ever hope provide an answer we can help by providing an informational tool.

Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SeaLevels at 100% against Nuke Simulator's 51%. SeaLevels also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). Nuke Simulator's advantage is ratings volume (1K vs 7) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 7 months). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nuke Simulator sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. SeaLevels asks for nothing beyond the download.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Nuke Simulator holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nuke Simulator has 1K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of SeaLevels's written reviews are positive against 51% of Nuke Simulator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

SeaLevels ships an update every 7 months, Nuke Simulator every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
