PVMA Mobile is the official record-keeping app for apprentices working toward their Utility Tree Trimmer (UTT) or Utility Tree Worker (UTW) certification through the Powerline Vegetation Management Association of Alberta. LOG HOURS ON THE JOB Record your on-the-job training hours directly from your phone — even without a cell signal. The app stores entries locally and syncs to the PVMA record server the next time you are online. Every entry captures the date, hours worked, and the stream (UTT or UTW) so your record is always current and complete. TRACK PROFICIENCY SKILLS AND MILESTONES The full PVMA demonstrated-proficiency checklist is built into the app. Mark skills off as you complete them and watch your hours and certification milestones update at a glance. When you meet a milestone, submit it for approval right from the app. QR-BASED CERTIFIER VERIFICATION When a certified UTT or UTW foreman verifies your hours and skills on site, they scan your QR code with their copy of PVMA Mobile to record the verification instantly. No paperwork, no lost forms. OFFLINE-FIRST AND SECURE All data is stored on your device with full encryption at rest (SQLCipher). Your record is yours — always accessible, even in remote work sites with no connectivity. YOUR ACCOUNT, YOUR DATA Edit your profile, reset your password, switch between light and dark mode, and review the terms of service right from the in-app settings. If you ever leave the program, you can permanently delete your account and all associated data from within the app. PVMA Mobile is designed for PVMA apprentices and their certifying supervisors. An active PVMA membership and an approved account are required to use the app. Privacy Policy: https://gymart.org/en/privacy-policy Terms of Service: https://gymart.org/en/terms-of-service
