Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: EOnlineScheduler at 2.6 against SignUpGenius's 1.3. EOnlineScheduler also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). SignUpGenius's advantage is chart position (#206 vs unranked) and ratings volume (63 vs 10). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
EOnlineScheduler holds the better App Store score, 2.6 against 1.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SignUpGenius has 63 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 2% of SignUpGenius's written reviews are positive against 0% of EOnlineScheduler's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
SignUpGenius ships an update every 3 months, EOnlineScheduler weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
