No account is required. Lessons, projects, editing, and bounded local code execution work without an internet connection; the App Store is contacted only for purchase and restore. Execution is bounded by limits on instruction count, call depth, input volume and output volume. C Language Assistant is not Clang, GCC or a complete ISO C toolchain. The current interpreter does not perform arbitrary memory access, full struct and union semantics, malloc/free, multi-dimensional arrays, a full preprocessor, real file I/O, networking, processes or system commands.
