The full text of the scriptures is included in the app for offline reading. Their purpose is to compile the most accurate and complete set of scriptures based on the restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ that began in the early 1800’s through Joseph Smith, Jr. The Restoration Edition, the committee responsible for its compilation, and the developer of this app are not affiliated in any way with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or any other church or organization. This effort serves a loose association of fellowships of believers in the Doctrine of Christ. This version of the app contains the March 2017 version of the text. Many changes have been made since that date, and the editing work continues at this time. When the final print edition has been finalized by the scriptures committee, a new version of this app will be released containing the updated text.
