Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Plane Above Me at none against Altimeter ∞ Elevation GPS's 3. Plane Above Me also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 11 days). Altimeter ∞ Elevation GPS's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (1K vs 34). On price, review sentiment, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
