Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Mobile Master at 4.5 against Frame Rate's 4.0. Mobile Master also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 10 months) and ratings volume (1.2K vs 3). Frame Rate's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 72%) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Frame Rate sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Mobile Master sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Mobile Master holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mobile Master has 1.2K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Frame Rate's written reviews are positive against 72% of Mobile Master's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Frame Rate ships an update every 10 months, Mobile Master every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
