SOCIAL INFERENCING MADE SIMPLE We make social inferences every day. We use facial expressions, body language, surroundings, and context to work out how someone might be feeling, what they could be thinking, or what may have happened. For some children, teenagers, and adults, noticing these clues and putting them together can be challenging. Inference Pics Lite provides a simple, structured way for speech-language pathologists, teachers, parents, and caregivers to work on social understanding, expressive language, and reasoning skills in speech therapy, education, or at home. SEE WHAT INFERENCE PICS LITE CAN DO • Get learners explaining their thinking, not just giving an answer. • Save prep time with ready-made inference questions, answers, and hints. • Draw directly on photos to circle or highlight important clues. • Show or hide possible answers to adjust the level of support. • Target emotions, perspective-taking, expressive language, and social reasoning. • Practice interpreting facial expressions, body language, and context. • Work with photos of real-life situations, not cartoons. • Create user profiles and track results. • No subscription and no Wi-Fi needed. LOOK. THINK. EXPLAIN. Each inference picture in Inference Pics has two inference prompts/questions. The first question varies depending on the chosen inference activity. For example, in the Conversations activity the user is asked "What are they saying? while in the Seasons activity the inference prompt is "What time of year is it? The second question in each inference activity is always “How can you tell?”. This allows the user to practice verbal expression and giving explanations. It also prompts the child or adult to explain what clues they found to enable them to make an inference. Note Diver turns sight-reading practice into an underwater arcade game. Sharks carry music notes on signs as they swim toward your diver. To stop them, you play the right note on a real instrument — piano, guitar, or bass — into your device's microphone. Read the note. Play it cleanly. Zap the shark. Survive the deep. No instrument? Toggle the on-screen keyboard in Setup and tap notes as they appear. Perfect for trying the game before pulling out your piano, or for kids learning their first notes. WHAT MAKES IT WORK • Real-time pitch detection that handles slightly out-of-tune pianos, plucked guitar harmonics, and quiet acoustic instruments • Treble clef, bass clef, both, intervals, and chords — eight biomes of progression across coral reefs, kelp forests, sunken ships, and the abyss • A tuner built in, with a chromatic needle and string guides for guitar and bass • Smart Practice generates a drill from the exact notes you miss most • Family-friendly: each player gets their own profile (avatar + progress) so a whole household can share one device THE OCEAN HAS PERSONALITY Piranha schools attack in waves. Squid carry three-note melodies and ink over your other targets. A megalodon boss every third level. Earn coins to unlock diver suits (yes, a mermaid tail), weapons that vanquish creatures in different ways, victory emotes, and themed shark skins. PRIVACY Audio is analyzed on your device only. Nothing is recorded, stored, or sent to a server — ever. The app contains no advertising, no in-app purchases, no analytics, no accounts. WHO IT'S FOR Anyone learning to read music — from total beginners on the white keys to bass players reading off the staff. Music teachers love it as homework. Parents love that it gets kids practicing without nagging. Dive in. Read music. Save yourself from the sharks.
