Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Mariášek at none against Solitaire's shown. Mariášek also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 months) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Solitaire's advantage is ratings volume (2.2K vs 19). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Mariášek sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Solitaire sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Mariášek against 4.8 for Solitaire. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Solitaire has 2.2K ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 77% of Mariášek's written reviews are positive against 71% of Solitaire's.
Mariášek ships an update every 10 days, Solitaire every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
