Snowball Santa is an addictive Christmas game about Santa Claus trying to stop rebellious elves from stealing all of the children's Christmas presents. Play as Santa and tap the screen to launch a snowball timing your throws perfectly to hit the elves and put down their rebellion, you will have 60 seconds to hit as many elves as possible and racking up more points with uninterrupted combo shots. 60 seconds isn't enough? Then target a reindeer and they will grant you an additional 10 seconds of Christmas combat. Watch out though some of the elves are carrying bombs and hitting one of these will deduct 5 seconds from your timer! If you can reach a 10x combo then you will enter power-up mode that allows you to throw a powerful snowball that hits all targets on screen.

Main features: Slowmotion - You have the full control over the time rate: slow it down, inrease the speed or just stop the simulation Gravity - Took it all from freezing time... Well, play with low / hight gravity or just turn it off like you are in space ;) Controll of gameplay - Disable or enable explosions visualization (if it covers debris you want to see), only smoke or even lights / flashes. - Too many debris on the screen? Just enable limitation option so all debris over certain value will smoothly dissapear - Not enought debris? Simply increase destructibility level Guns - About 13 different explosives (missiles, dynamites, bombs) - Earthquake, tornado, singularity - Different sized cannon balls - Custom gun editor Maps - Destroy over 30+ prebuild map from skyscrapers to ancient structures - Map editor: Build your own map and save it to one of available slots Simulator We have created this game for our personal needs - always dreamed of the game that allows you to destroy buildings, but there wasnt any, sooo... had to do one ourselves : )

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Snowball Santa at none against Destruction simulator's 8. Snowball Santa also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (88% vs 63%). Destruction simulator's advantage is rating (3.7 vs 3.2) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 11 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Destruction simulator sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Snowball Santa asks for nothing beyond the download.
Destruction simulator holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Destruction simulator has 103 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of Snowball Santa's written reviews are positive against 63% of Destruction simulator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Snowball Santa ships an update every 11 months, Destruction simulator every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
