lustar vs Oddly° Weather

The two biggest factors keeping you from finding that perfect star gazing location are light pollution and weather. Using local weather forecasts and light pollution data, Lustar gives you a searchable map of the world with hourly stargazing forecasts for every location. Check out the Dark Site locations if you're not sure where to start.

Is today normal... or oddly not? Oddly shows you what your weather app won't: how your temperature right now compares to what's normal for this time of day. Not just "72°" — but "72°, +12° above normal. Oddly warm." One glance. That's all it takes. At 8am, Oddly knows 50° is normal. At 3pm, it knows that's cold. HOW ODD IS YOUR WEEK? Swipe up to see your 7-day forecast, not just highs and lows, but how each day compares to normal. Spot the oddly warm Friday or the weirdly cold Tuesday before it hits. THE TEMPERATURE CURVE Swipe down to see today's temperature plotted against the historical average, hour by hour, in real time. Press and hold to scrub through the day and see exactly when things got odd. ODDLY+ MEMBERS GET THE FULL WEEK Upgrade to see the 7-day temperature curve, a continuous, scrollable chart showing actual vs. average temperatures across the entire week. Weather condition icons, sunrise/sunset markers for every day, and precipitation changes when you scrub the graph. See the cold front coming before it hits. PHRASES THAT MATCH THE MOMENT Forget generic weather descriptions. Oddly rotates through fun, personality-driven phrases daily: • "Oddly warm" • "Temperature tantrum" • "What even?!" • "Perfectly normal" • "A bit crisp" ...and dozens more. Every day feels a little different.
