Greetings, game lovers and just cryptomaniacs! We offer you to play our game, where the goal is to earn bitcoin (haha, virtual of course). The game is a classic interpretation of the all-time favorite game "2048.” We did not change the gameplay much, but we presented all the tiles in the form of logos of the most popular cryptocurrencies. In addition, we sorted all the crypto-currencies according to their market capitalization. So in the end, by manipulating the tiles, you need to collect the most expensive coin - Bitcoin. We wish you good luck in your attempts to earn your first (virtual :) bitcoin. Features: • Single-player sliding block puzzle game • New stunning design of the old game • Tiles distribution, according to the capitalization of the cryptocurrency • Easy gameplay • Only for real crypto geeks

Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: 2048 Coins at none against Bitcoin Blocks's shown. 2048 Coins also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Bitcoin Blocks's advantage is ratings volume (726 vs 2) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
2048 Coins holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bitcoin Blocks has 726 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of 2048 Coins's written reviews are positive against 59% of Bitcoin Blocks's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
2048 Coins ships an update every 2 months, Bitcoin Blocks monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
