Story Problems vs Visualization Skills

Story Problems uniqueness comes from the ability to use fun animals as manipulatives to aide in solving simple story problems. Students can choose to solve addition or subtraction story problems. For an extra challenge, mixed story problems are included. Choosing this game mode will allow students to use higher level thinking skills to first determine whether the problem calls for them to add or subtract. They can then use the manipulatives to help solve the story problem. To allow for differentiation, a range of numbers can be selected that will then be used within the story problems.
