It is a clock that can know the direction by the position of the sun. Point the hour hand towards the sun. In the Northern Hemisphere, the hour hand of the clock faces the sun and the middle of the 12 o'clock position points south. In the Southern Hemisphere, clock 12 o'clock facing the sun, halfway to the hour hand points north There is an error between magnetic north and true north indicated by the magnet. This compass points to true north. The difference between true north as seen from magnetic north is declination. Since the movement of the earth is not constant with respect to the sun, an equation of time will occur. Mid-South time is about 14 minutes late in February and 16 minutes early in November. For example, the time of Japan is adjusted to 135 degrees east longitude, so the sun comes to the south at noon near Akashi. In areas other than 135 ° E, there will be a 4 minute difference per degree. 方角がわかっているときは、針を方角に合わせることにより太陽の位置を知る事ができます（逆引き） When the direction is known, you can know the position of the sun by setting the needle to the direction. Permission to use location information is required for use
