UPM Raflatac is leading the industry with RafCycle®, an innovative recycling concept that reuses pressure sensitive label waste to create new materials. RafCycle takes self adhesive label byproducts that would otherwise be incinerated or landfilled and gives them new life. RafCycle reduces landfill waste and also provides numerous benefits to printers, packers, other label industry participants and, of course, the environment. The UPM RafCycle app can be used to manage the RafCycle logistics chain: - Create and manage inventory locations. - View current and all-time inventory statistics. - Scan unique QR-codes and validate their authenticity. - Create new inventory transactions using unique QR-codes.

For mutual aid requests this will allow the user to contact the NMPP Mutual Aid Coordinator either via a phone call or by submitting a request. In a circumstance where the user does not have time to specify what equipment and personnel they specifically need, they can explain it to the coordinator. When they do use the submittal request, the coordinator will know what resources to locate prior to reaching back out to the community in need. For those who experience a system outage in their community, they will be able to quickly report this with one touch of a button and the application will pass along the location of the outage to the necessary individuals. This will allow NMPP personnel to track these events and complete the necessary follow up steps. The Generation Notification selection allows the user to notify NMPP and TEA that they are operating their municipal generation and why they are doing so. This communication provides the necessary notice so stakeholders can make adjustments to day ahead and real time operations and so steps can be taken to ensure environmental tracking and financial settlements are performed.
