Build a clear record of supervised driving practice without a spreadsheet. Designed for driving learners—especially teenagers—and the families supervising them, Drive Practice keeps recording simple. Tap Start Driving to time a practice, or quickly add a duration manually when you need to record an earlier session. Review day and night totals, keep separate profiles organized, and see every completed drive in a clear history. Auto Detect makes that simple utility even easier. With a compatible Bluetooth beacon installed and paired, Auto Detect enabled, and the required permissions granted, Drive Practice can start and stop a provisional recording in the background when qualifying vehicle evidence is detected. Notifications and Live Activity provide status, but the learner does not need to tap, confirm, or stop anything while driving. After the drive finishes, simply add it to the practice log or discard it. FEATURES • One-tap practice timer • Day and night totals based on local sunrise and sunset when Location is enabled • Fast manual duration entry • Multiple driver profiles with individual history and totals • Optional iCloud sync and sharing for a private family driving log • Optional hands-free Auto Detect with a compatible paired Bluetooth beacon • No live interaction during an automatically detected drive; add or discard it afterward • Informational notifications, Live Activity, and widget support • Works locally without creating an account • No ads, analytics, or cross-app tracking Drive Practice is a personal record-keeping utility. It is not affiliated with a licensing authority, DMV, driving school, or government agency. Requirements vary by location; verify your official learner-permit and supervised-driving requirements before relying on any total.

Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Drive Practice Log at 5.0 against FORScan Viewer's 2.7. Drive Practice Log also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 months). FORScan Viewer's advantage is ratings volume (105 vs 1) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
