Daylights is your calendar for daylight and night-dark hours around the year, all over the globe. It offers three alternative daylight visualization styles, allowing you to choose whichever feels the most intuitive to you: • The Classic: the 12-hour clock alternates between daylight and night-dark, whichever is shorter. • The Light: the 12-hour clock always shows daylight, overlapping with itself when necessary. • The Magic: a 24-hour clock shows the full day, and highlights the "magic hours" around sunrise and sunset! You can pick any location on the planet to look at the interplay of the polar night and the midnight sun at the big latitudes. And finally, you can see how the light and dark hours would shift in your hometown if daylight saving time became the permanent state of things or was removed altogether, or if they decided to move to the next or previous time zone.

How much warmth has accumulated at your location? Grassland Temperature Sum shows a temperature-based guide for beekeepers and gardeners who want to put plant development into context. Choose a location and follow its GTS since January 1. The calculation uses the mean of four daily OpenWeather temperature readings. Positive values count with a factor of 0.5 in January, 0.75 in February and 1.0 from March onwards. Growing Degree Days are also shown, using a base of 10°C/50°F. View the yearly curve and compare it with the previous year when those weather records are available. The bloom calendar lists plants by their stored GTS guidelines for flowering start. The seasons wheel shows a typical Central European calendar reference, not observed seasons at your location. Use the Apple Watch app to view the temperature sum, or the larger iPad view to browse the bloom calendar. You can edit or delete saved locations. Location access and subscriptions New users need a subscription. Annual plans support up to three or ten saved locations. People who bought the app before it became a free download retain access to one location. Available prices and subscription periods are shown in the app. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. These are calculated weather indicators, not measurements taken by the app or confirmed plant observations. Local conditions, species and sowing dates affect actual flowering. OpenWeather calculations can differ from station measurements. The app does not determine a binding fertilization or sowing date. Choose a location and follow its accumulated warmth.
