MagentaTV Smart Remote application allows you to control your Set-Top-Box (STB) (provided that you are a MagentaTV subscriber) using your smartphone or tablet as you are currently doing with your remote control. In order to communicate the device with the STB, the following requirements must be met: a) the stb should be connected to the internet b) the device should be connected to the same local network (same wifi) as the STB. More information on the operation of the MagentaTV Smart Remote App can be found in the Help menu.
