WHAT YOU GET - A complete IQ exam with realistic tasks from many categories – free, with your result at the end - Your IQ score on a bell curve (normal distribution) – instantly see how you compare - Detailed statistics for every category: discover your strengths and weaknesses - Review your right and wrong answers after each category - Puzzles and exercises in three difficulty levels, with hints, solutions and explanations - Available in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Turkish and Dutch - Pro without ads – as a one-time purchase, so you don't need a subscription WHAT THE IQ TEST MEASURES Inspired by the WAIS-IV (Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale), the test covers six areas: - Perceptual reasoning - Processing speed - Working memory - Verbal comprehension - Numerical reasoning - Logical thinking You solve tasks such as matrix reasoning, number sequences, cube folding, image memory, patterns, analogies, estimation, ordering numbers and letters, logic questions and more. WHAT IS AN IQ TEST? An IQ test shows how you perform compared to other people. Intelligence itself is not clearly defined – it is simply what an IQ test measures. So don't take your score too seriously – see it as an exciting comparison with others! Brainchain - the original associative thinking training game Our associative mind is a gigantic connected web of knowledge, experiences and memories. When we see or think of one thing it triggers a number of possible linked associations: some narrow, some broad. If we stay too narrow and ruminative, it can lead to more negative or anxious states. If we can be broader, our mood, outlook and creativity tends to improve. Brainchain is a fast-paced and fun game designed to develop greater breadth in our associative thinking through words. How to Play Create your 6 word brainchain Begin with the starter word. Type the first word you associate with it in less than 10 seconds. Repeats 4 more times, with the next typed word being associated to the previous one in the chain. Review, share, compare your unique brainchain. Rules Single words only Must be a common word, not a specific person, country or brand. English words only No abbreviations Tips The goal is to find a clearly associated word, not a randomly disconnected one. Type what comes to mind first, don’t try to overthink. It’s about training ourselves to associate through more interesting routes. Reflect on your brainchain to see how you travelled to the final word and where you could have made it a broader chain.

Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: IQ Test at 4.4 against Brainchain's 4.0. IQ Test also leads on ratings volume (8K vs 1) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 4 months). Brainchain's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
