Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: RestoMods at none against Summit Racing's shown. RestoMods also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). Summit Racing's advantage is ratings volume (71K vs 22) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Summit Racing against 4.9 for RestoMods. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Summit Racing has 71K ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Summit Racing ships an update every 2 months, RestoMods every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
