Both are free to download. iNote sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and PlopNote sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
iNote holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PlopNote has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of iNote's written reviews are positive against 100% of PlopNote's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
iNote ships an update every 7 months, PlopNote monthly. The most recent releases landed on June 24, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
