The Qulto eCard aims to completely substitute printed library cards and offer many novel solutions. "Matters" associated with library membership can be accessed, previewed and handled with the use of the application. Library members are able to quickly and simply check their ongoing loans, reservations, upcoming deadlines, library contacts and opening hours. Mobile notifications help with the tracking of actions that need to be taken and with deadlines. Users can utilize biometric identification for quick and secure authentication. It is planned to enhance the application with social and financial functionalities in the future.
