Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Simple Notch at 4.6 against 视频转文字's 3.0. Simple Notch also leads on ratings volume (425 vs 2) and update cadence (every 11 days vs every 2 months). 视频转文字's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Simple Notch sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and 视频转文字 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Simple Notch holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Simple Notch has 425 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Simple Notch ships an update every 11 days, 视频转文字 every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
