Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
RSSBud holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 15 and 27 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of Bangumi 番组计划's written reviews are positive against 50% of RSSBud's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Bangumi 番组计划 ships an update every 3 months, RSSBud every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
