Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: PrayedUp at 100% against Church Center's 41%. PrayedUp also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.0). Church Center's advantage is ratings volume (2K vs 24) and chart position (#146 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
PrayedUp holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Church Center has 2K ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 41% of Church Center's written reviews are positive against 100% of PrayedUp's.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
