Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Schoolpool at none against CatchUp's 3. Schoolpool also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 68%) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 months). CatchUp's advantage is ratings volume (46 vs 5). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.
