The Jambé app is the companion to the Jambé electronic percussion instrument. Every nuance and touch on the Jambé is communicated to the app where it is translated into sound. The Jambé app features a sound engine comprised of a unique sample-based synthesizer and multiple effects processors, all designed around the continuous data from the Jambé percussion instrument. The iPad version adds a complete editor allowing you to customize and create your own kits. The iPhone version only contains the sound engine. The Jambé app can function without the Jambé electronic percussion instrument attached. This allows you to edit kits from the couch or explore the capabilities of Jambé’s sound engine before purchasing hardware. Additional features: • Easily share kits and download new ones. • Support for landscape and portrait modes. • Over 45 modulation sources including your iOS device’s accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, magnetometer, and altimeter. • Over 175 modulation destinations. • Number of voices limited only by the processing power of your iOS device. • Supports professional USB audio interfaces. • Can combine samples with live audio input.

In our seventh collaboration with Berlin-based musician Hainbach we listen to the stars: Moon Echo is a free to download delay based on a communications technique that uses our closest cosmic neighbor, the moon, as a reflector for radio waves. This results in some rather crunchy and lively echoes, modulated by the movement of Earth and moon. The moon's surface is an imperfect mirror and creates artifacts, unlike any other echo technique. Moon Echo is both a musical lo-fi effect and a playful tool for teaching about space. Available as AUv3 and Standalone.
