Turn the old smartphone in your drawer into a security camera for your home. HomeCam repurposes a spare smartphone as a CCTV camera. One app, two roles — a Camera mode you mount and record with, and a Viewer mode you watch from — so two phones are all you need to start. ■ Key features · 1-minute pre-buffer — saves from a full minute before motion so you never miss how it started · Smart motion detection — adjustable sensitivity and region of interest · Live from anywhere — check home over cellular while you're out (encrypted P2P) · Push-to-talk — speak through the camera phone's speaker · Instant alerts — push notification on motion · Multiple cameras — manage several camera phones from one viewer · Remote settings — change quality, sensitivity, and retention from afar · Family sharing — view-only and secure ■ Privacy first Your video is never stored on or sent through our servers. It stays in local storage or your own iCloud, and live video travels directly between devices with encryption (P2P). No location tracking, no ads, no analytics SDKs. ■ Broad compatibility Supports iOS 15+ (iPhone 6s and later). Available in 7 languages. ■ Free Every feature is free to use. No ads, no subscription. Pets, babies, front doors, farms and weekend homes — start today with no new hardware.
