MEL VR Science Simulations is a growing series of science simulations, lessons, and labs covering chemistry and physics. Made to fit right into the school curriculum, virtual reality turns studying into an interactive and immersive experience, making learning entertaining. Become a researcher in a scientific laboratory You will enter the MEL Virtual Laboratory, where you will zoom in on such seemingly simple objects like a pencil or a balloon, fly between molecules and atoms, and understand the differences between solids and gaseous substances at a molecular level! Immerse yourself in the world of chemistry and physics and see how it looks from the inside. With the virtual reality glasses you will see chemical compounds and physical reactions inside everyday objects. Don’t memorize, understand! It’s not enough to memorize formulas from a textbook. To understand the concepts of science, shrink down to the molecular and atomic level, immerse yourself in different types of matter and see how atoms and molecules interact from a whole new perspective. Online school in virtual reality It is difficult to retain the attention of children with formulas and boring textbooks. Immersed in virtual reality, nothing distracts from study. Short 5-minute VR lessons, interactive labs, and simulations are an excellent way to understand complex chemical and physical concepts through engaging visualizations. With MEL VR Science Simulations, science becomes a favorite subject at home and at school. To cover all the main topics, at present the application contains a growing library of over 70 VR lessons, labs, and simulations: Discover that an atom consists of a tiny nucleus, surrounded by an electron cloud. Learn about the three main subatomic particles: electrons, protons and neutrons. You will see how atoms are arranged in ordinary items like pencils and balloons. Find out that atoms in solids do not remain motionless, but are in motion all the time! Dive into gaseous helium and see how these atoms behave. What happens with atoms when the temperature increases? In the interactive laboratory you can assemble any atoms, and study the structure of their electron orbitals. Assemble any molecule and see how they take shape. Learn the difference between the structural and skeletal formula. Look at the real position of atoms in a molecule and the bonds between them. Use our interactive periodic table to find out how the periodic table is arranged. Why the elements are placed in this order, and what information you can learn from the position of an element in the periodic table. You can select any element, and see the structure of its atoms and electron configuration. MEL VR Science simulations also has lessons, labs, and simulations covering isotopes, electrons, ions, the periodic table, molecular formulas, isomers, electrostatics and much more. The future of education is already here, download the MEL VR Science simulations application right now! All content is also available to view in 2D. Language options available. When your child asks a why-question, Whyzard gives you two layers, side by side — a calm, kid-friendly answer you can read together, and a real adult-level explanation underneath. So you're not reciting; you're learning alongside them. HOW IT WORKS • Type or speak any question your child has asked, or one you're both curious about: "Why is the sky blue?" "Why can birds fly?" "Why can't I have ice cream before dinner?" • Get a two-layer answer in seconds — a kid-friendly framing first, your own deeper layer underneath. When a "why" is really about a rule or a feeling, Whyzard tells you so and gives you one calm answer instead of two. • The kid-facing answer, read aloud. • An honest note flags what the answer leaves out, and when your child will be ready for that next layer. • Follow-up suggestions help you go deeper if either of you stays curious. • After each answer, a few open-ended questions to ask your child back — each with a quick answer ready for you. • A starter question every day, in case you want a fresh question to explore together. LEARN TOGETHER, IN TWO LAYERS The for-your-child layer is the words you can read aloud together — tuned to how your child takes in ideas, from first plain-spoken explanations to a well-read kid ready for bigger words. Set your child's level once, and every answer comes back fitted to them. The just-for-you layer is a real explanation written for the parent — as deep as you want, from a quick gist to the full mechanism behind it. You and your child learn together, instead of you relaying a script you don't fully understand. BUILT FOR CURIOSITY — LEARNED TOGETHER The why-questions kids ask all day — about sky, weather, animals, space, bodies, dreams, why things work the way they do. Each one becomes a moment to wonder about together. WHY IT'S NOT ANOTHER CHATBOT • Built for two readers, not one. Open it with your child — answer on screen, conversation in the room. • No account, no sign-up, no waiting. Open the app, ask, read together. • Your conversation history stays on your device. SIRI-READY "Hey Siri, ask Whyzard why the sky is blue." A calm answer comes back on screen. ASK IN ANY LANGUAGE Whyzard auto-detects the language of each question and answers in the same language. — Whyzard is for the questions kids ask and parents don't always have words for. Open it together. Read it together. Keep wondering together. — WHAT'S FREE, WHAT'S PLUS Free includes five questions a day, one child profile, and a daily turn with the premium read-aloud voice. Whyzard Plus lifts the daily limit, makes room for up to five children, and opens the premium voice for everyday reading. — Whyzard Plus is an auto-renewable subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged within 24 hours before the period ends. Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: Whyzard at 5.0 against MEL VR Science Simulations's 3.8. Whyzard also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 months). MEL VR Science Simulations's advantage is ratings volume (90 vs 3) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
