Mi.Control appen er et nødvendig verktøy for å konfigurere og styre produkter i Mi.Control-serien som blant annet astrodimmeren MM7692. Med appen konfigurerer man enhetene med de ulike funksjonaliteter man ønsker å benytte, eksempelvis astro ukeur med eller uten dimming, og programmerer eventuelt en ukeplan med forskjellige hendelser og nattslukking. I tillegg er det mulighet for å direkte overstyre enheter fra appen så lenge man er innenfor rekkevidden på opptil 75 meter (fri sikt), eller om lag 10m innendørs. Når man legger til nye enheter til brukerkontoen kan man navngi enhetene og legge de til i ulike rom, soner eller lokasjoner, eller markere som favoritter for å organisere enhetene på en lettforståelig måte. Alle enheter skal angis passord/PIN-kode for å sikre at uvedkommende ikke skal få tilgang til å koble seg til enhetene.
