Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: MPP at 84% against Uptrack's 44%. MPP also leads on ratings volume (1.3K vs 2). Uptrack's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. MPP sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Uptrack sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.90 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Uptrack holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MPP has 1.3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 84% of MPP's written reviews are positive against 44% of Uptrack's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
MPP ships an update every 2 weeks, Uptrack monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
